Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These terms cover how the writing, patterns and photographs on Kitty & Yarn may be used. They are short on purpose.
Using this site
You are welcome to read, print and follow anything published here for personal, non-commercial use. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree with them, please stop using it.
Patterns and finished items
Our written patterns and instructions remain our copyright, but items you make from them are yours. You may sell finished keychains you crocheted yourself, in small quantities, provided you credit Kitty & Yarn as the pattern source. You may not resell, redistribute or republish the pattern text itself, in any language or format.
Photographs
All photographs on this site are owned by us or used with permission. They may not be reused in listings, adverts or social posts without written consent. Sharing a link to an article, with an automatically generated preview image, is always fine.
Accuracy and safety
Every tutorial is tested before publication, but yarn weight, hook size and personal tension vary, so results will differ. Amigurumi contains small parts: keychains made with safety eyes or removable hardware are not suitable for children under three. You are responsible for the safety of items you make and give away.
External links
Some articles link to suppliers, videos or other makers. We link only to sources we have used ourselves, but we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their policies.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the information published here.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the site grows. The date below reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept it.
